Step-By-Step Natural Guide To Get Rid Of Fingernail Fungus Fast

This summer I was begging for help to get rid of nail fungus which severely attacked my nails. My hands looked pretty disgusting and painful. I knew that nail fungus attacked only the toenails but it seems that it may attack, in some cases, the fingernails too. And I was one of those rare cases.

I had some yellowish disgusting nails which I thought, at the beginning, that nail polish was the cause, but it seemed that I was facing with a fungus. So, I stopped polishing my fingernails for a few weeks thinking this was the cause, but it got worse. My fingernails were turning brownish so I called for help. Left untreated, the fungus will attack other nails like it happened to me.

After a few more weeks of struggling, finally I managed to get rid of the nail infection without using over-the-counter antifungals. I used instead, natural remedies which were extremely effective.

Tea Tree Oil saved my nails…

You need:

  • 3 drops of tea tree oil
  • 1 teaspoon of coconut oil
  • Cotton swabs

How to prepare and use:

Add three drops of tea tree oil to a teaspoon of coconut oil and mix well. Dip a cotton swab in the mixture and apply it to the affected nail and allow the mixture to dry. Repeat this twice a day.

…but only if it’s combined with apple cider vinegar…

You need:

  • ½ cup of vinegar
  • 3 cups of water
  • A small bowl

How to prepare and use:

Add half a cup of vinegar and three cups of water in a small bowl. Soak your fingers in the vinegar bath for at least 20 minutes. Repeat this once a day.

…or hydrogen peroxide…

Mix half a cup of 3 % hydrogen peroxide with water and soak your fingers in this solution for 20 minutes. Repeat this procedure once a day.

But, before going to bed, it mandatory to apply Vicks VapoRub to get rid of nail fungus!

You need:

  • Vicks Vaporub
  • gauze

How to use:

  • Trim your nails and wash them clean.
  • Allow your nails to dry completely.
  • Take some Vicks VapoRub and apply it all around the affected nail, going deep into the cracks if any.
  • Wrap the affected nail with cotton gauze.
  • Leave it on overnight.
