How To Use Vicks Vaporub To Shrink Open Pores?

There is something I can’t accept about my skin: those enormous large pores looking like volcano craters. I can deal with pimples, because they are gone in a day or two, but large open pores are forever.

It’s great that there are solutions for that, more precisely a bunch of solutions which I’ve tried with no last-longing success after all. I’ve tried professional cosmetics but they were emptying my wallet fast, then I resorted to natural remedies which weren’t exactly on my expectations. The last solution was to take that laser treatment but it’s extremely expensive.

Until…one day when I got sick and stood in bed with fever for 2 days and mom applied Vicks Vaporub on my chest and forehead. Yes, the cold was gone completely within 6 days, but I was amazed about my complexion: those enormous pores were shrunk and my skin was …almost silky smooth.

Well, that’s a secret I didn’t know about Vicks! I read once about its many uses but shrinking large pores wasn’t on that list. It seems that it should be added, because the result of a common cold was shrunk pores.
Since that cold, I use Vicks to shrink large open skin pores and the entire process takes only 5 minutes.

How to use Vicks to shrink large pores?

Needed Items:

  • Vicks Vaporub
  • Small cotton towel
  • Cold water

First of all take a small amount of Vicks and gently massage your face with it for 1 minute. It should go deeply into the skin.

The next step is to soak the cotton towel in cold water, squeeze it and apply it on your face. Keep it until it gets warm, and then repeat the process for 5 minutes.

Bottom line: given my experience, Vicks Vaporub is the best solution to shrink large pores.

Pay careful attention: if you have sensitive skin then Vicks Vaporub is not for you. That burning sensation given by camphor and menthol – the main Vicks ingredients – can irritate badly your skin.
