Keloids are the result of different skin diseases such as acne, burns, bites or scratches, and most of the time they aren’t painful. These skin signs can get painful if you touch or hit them. But here are some effective natural remedies for keloid treatment:
Is a great remedy for keloids! Mix baking soda and hydrogen peroxide in a 1: 3 ratio to form a fine paste. Apply this paste to the affected area, cover with a cotton pad, and leave it to act for 20 minutes. Repeat this treatment 3-4 times each day, until the keloids disappear.
It contains antioxidants and vitamin C, which are very useful in treating various types of scars. You just have to massage the scars with lemon juice daily. After a few weeks you should see a significant improvement in the color, texture and appearance of the scars.
Garlic prevents the proliferation of excess fibroblasts, which is mainly the cause of keloid scar enlargement. Apply crushed garlic cloves over the keloids and let it act for 15 minutes. Wash the area with warm water.
It has skin rejuvenation properties that are effective in reducing the aspect of keloids. Apply this oil to the affected area and massage lightly. You can repeat this remedy several times a day. Over time, you will see the results.
Coconut oil is a natural remedy that hydrates and heals the skin. Massage the scars with coconut oil for about 5 minutes. Rinse with warm water, but only after 10 minutes, to take effect. Repeat this procedure daily until the scar disappears.
Vitamin E supports skin regeneration and reduces the appearance of scars. Extract the vitamin from an oily capsule and rub the affected area daily.
Besides garlic, onions will help to reduce keloid scars. Apply onion juice and massage 3 times a day.
Soak a cotton pad in apple vinegar and apply it on the keloid. Let it stand for a few minutes then rinse with warm water. Repeat this treatment daily.
